Large Water Feature & Landscaping

This was an unusual project for regular clients who wanted something different. A large water feature – 22m long by 4.5m wide with cascades involving a structural engineer to ensure adequate strength and to allow for expansion and contraction of the structure. It required lifting a large area of York stone and digging out two water reservoirs and the cascade area. The York stone was then cut and re-used to cover the concrete base of the cascade with new sawn York sides and coping. Three pumps ensure a smooth and gentle flow of water for this centrepiece to a wonderful country garden. The area around is a combination of gravel areas and lawns ending at the newly constructed dry stone wall in Cotswold stone.
