Success at Hampton Court Palace Flower Show 2009
We are very pleased and proud to have gained a Silver-Gilt Medal The 2009 Hampton Court Palace Flower Show.
Working with designer Kathryn Hibberd of Prestwood. Kathryn's company 12 Garden Design produced the "Teenage Sanctuary" in the small gardens category. The main feature was a cedar and aluminium tower in a contemporary design set amongst a garden with a vibrant and colourful planting scheme.

We acted as main contractors in the construction of the garden, aided by Paul Woodrow of Long Crendon, who produced the tower and decking. Unlike a free-standing garden shed the tower had to be concreted in place to provide a sturdy space for people to use. Other local organisations involved included Oakhirst Metals of Winslow, Little Hampden Forge and pupils from The Misbourne School who painted the graffiti wall.
As often happens when working to a show deadline the hot weather conspired to make the timing of the plants blooming very tricky, but all was well in the end. The garden attracted a lot of attention and the Silver-Gilt Medal made everything worthwhile.
All in all it was an excellent result!
